View from Brussels: The world becomes more and more aware of the importance of the initiatives put forward by the President of Uzbekistan

BRUSSELS, September 20. /“Dunyo” IA/. Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Delegation for Relations with Central Asia and Mongolia of the European Parliament Thierry Mariani commented on the results of the Samarkand SCO Summit for the “Dunyo” IA.

- I would like to congratulate the organizers and participants of the 22nd Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization for their meeting. My special congratulations go to the host country for organizing this important event in the tense international context.

Multilateralism is a crucial issue in the evolution of our multipolar world. It can only work through the free will of great peoples to ensure an international settlement of issues based on justice and mutual knowledge. As the world becomes more and more aware of the importance of initiatives such as those that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev describes as the Samarkand spirit.
