Uzbekistan delegation takes part in the CAREC Transport Sector Coordinating Committee Meeting

TASHKENT, May 31. /“Dunyo” IA/. Georgia’s Tbilisi hosted the 20th CAREC Transport Sector Coordinating Committee Meeting, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.


According to the Ministry of Transport, the ministry’s delegation took part in this meeting, where the projects of Uzbekistan Railways company were presented with the participation of the Asian Development Bank.

During the 20th meeting, the latest developments were discussed, and plans were outlined until 2030 in railways, road asset management, road safety, aviation, cross-border transport, and logistics issues.

Following the meeting, a decision was made to approve the Action Plan for CAREC Transport Activities.
