Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan Foreign Ministers confirm their readiness to intensify efforts aimed at enhancing the strategic partnership

TASHKENT, January 1. /“Dunyo” IA/. Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov has had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.


According to Uzbekistan MFA, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan warmly congratulated Bakhtiyor Saidov on his appointment to a highly responsible position.

Mutual readiness to intensify efforts aimed at enhancing the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan was confirmed.

The ministers exchanged views on the current issues on the bilateral agenda and agreed on a schedule of the upcoming events.
