Uzbek-French Business Forum to be held in Tashkent in April

TASHKENT, March 16. /“Dunyo” IA/. On March 14, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with Ambassador of the French Republic Aurélia Bouchez, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the Uzbekistan MIIT, during the talks, the current state of bilateral agreements on the implementation of priority projects in trade, economic, investment and financial cooperation worth more than 6 billion euros, reached during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to France in November 2022, was considered.

The agenda of the upcoming visit of a delegation of companies - members of the Movement of the Enterprises of France (MEDEF International), headed by Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade, Economic Attractiveness and French Nationals Abroad, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olivier Becht, to Uzbekistan in April was also discussed. According to the visit’s program, it is planned to hold the 9th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and a business forum with the participation of a solid number of representatives of the business circles of the two countries.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to make efforts to saturate the planned events with practical content, bearing in mind specific investment and trade agreements between Uzbekistan and France.
