The President of Uzbekistan sincerely congratulates the President of Tajikistan on his birthday

TASHKENT, October 6. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.


According to the press service of the Head of our state, the President of Uzbekistan cordially congratulated the Leader of Tajikistan on his 70th birthday, sincerely expressing his best wishes for health, well-being and great success, as well as peace and prosperity for the fraternal people of Tajikistan.

The role of President Emomali Rahmon in the development of modern Tajikistan and raising the country’s international prestige, in achieving the current highest level of friendship and good neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan was emphasized.

Issues of implementation of previously reached agreements were considered. The launch of the Joint Investment Fund, designed to promote priority cooperation projects in industry, agriculture, energy, transport and other key areas, was noted with satisfaction.

The importance of further enhancing active interregional contacts, holding joint business and cultural events in the two countries was emphasized.

Views were exchanged on the current issues on the regional agenda, and a schedule of upcoming multilateral meetings was considered.

The telephone conversation between the President of Uzbekistan and the President of Tajikistan took place in a traditionally open, warm and friendly atmosphere.
