The President of Kazakhstan congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday by phone

TASHKENT, July 24. /“Dunyo” IA/. Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our state, the Leader of Kazakhstan cordially congratulated the Leader of Uzbekistan on his birthday, sincerely wishing President Shavkat Mirziyoyev good health, prosperity and great success.

Issues of further strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, enhancing multifaceted collaboration between the two countries were considered.

The importance of accelerating cooperation projects in trade and logistics, industry, and the agro-industrial complex was emphasized. An agreement was reached to continue close cooperation at the level of the governments of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Views were exchanged on the current regional agenda. The fruitful results of the regular Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, held this week in Kyrgyzstan, were highly appreciated.

The main attention was paid to the issues of early preparation and the start of practical implementation of major infrastructure projects in the region.
