The First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan discusses new aspects of economic cooperation with the Ambassador of Germany

TASHKENT, November 30. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Furkat Sidikov met with the Ambassador of Germany Tilo Klinner, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed practical measures to implement the signed agreements between the two countries, as well as the adopted roadmap following the 6th meeting of Germany – Uzbekistan Business Council.

The need for enhancing trade and economic cooperation was noted, including by organizing the supply of a wide range of high-quality and competitive Uzbekistan products to the German market, and implementing joint investment projects with the involvement of leading German companies.

The implementation of joint projects to create centers for professional training of personnel in Uzbekistan using German educational methods and standards was discussed.

The German side, noting the high efficiency of mutual trips of representatives of the business community, proposed to organize a business forum in Uzbekistan in 2023 with the invitation of leading German companies to establish cooperation with representatives of various industries of the country.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on holding a regular dialogue between the Foreign Ministry and the Embassy of Germany to ensure the implementation of all economic documents signed between the two countries.
