The First Deputy Chairman of the Senate receives the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia

TASHKENT, December 30. /“Dunyo” IA/. First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Sodik Safoyev has met with the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan Yousef Al Otaiba, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the upper house of the Parliament, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of relations between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia, issues of deepening inter-parliamentary ties and developing cooperation in education.

It was noted that the historic visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Saudi Arabia and the agreements reached brought mutually beneficial relations to a qualitatively high level.

Views were exchanged between the inter-parliamentary friendship groups on further intensifying interaction, organizing mutual visits of heads and members of parliaments.
