The candidacy of Shavkat Mirziyoyev supported at the Extraordinary Congress of the “Milliy Tiklanish” Party

TASHKENT, June 2. /“Dunyo” IA/. The Extraordinary Congress of the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Milliy Tiklanish” took place, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

The participants discussed issues related to the nomination of a candidate for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the early elections to be held on July 9, 2023, the introduction of amendments and additions to the Charter of the party, the approval of the new composition of the Central Council of the party.

Speakers at the Congress emphasized the close connection between the program goals of the “Milliy Tiklanish” Democratic Party and the activities of the Head of State Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev.

It was noted that the “Milliy Tiklanish” Democratic Party unequivocally stands for the continuation of reforms that have led to positive changes in the life of every citizen of Uzbekistan. Based on this, the Congress delegates unanimously supported the nomination of the candidacy of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who proved his loyalty to the people, and the Motherland, who showed patriotism, for the post of President of Uzbekistan.

Several tasks were defined at the Congress to support the candidate during the election campaign, and appropriate decisions were made on the issues considered.
