President of Uzbekistan to Pay a State Visit to Singapore

TASHKENT, January 15. /“Dunyo” IA/. On January 16-18, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev shall pay a state visit to Singapore at the invitation of the President of Singapore Halimah Yacob, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our state, in accordance with the program of the visit, the top-level meetings and talks with the President of Singapore Halimah Yacob and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

The summit’s agenda includes topical issues of further expansion and strengthening of the Uzbek-Singaporean multifaceted relations.

A particular attention shall be paid to deepening practical cooperation in trade, economic, investment, innovation, transport and communication areas, as well as in the fields of public administration and training of highly qualified personnel. Following the talks, a solid package of bilateral documents in the aforementioned areas is being prepared for adoption.

In addition, the President of Uzbekistan will meet with CEOs of Singaporean high-profile companies. On the eve of the visit, a business forum of the two countries' business circles shall be held.
