National Sports Award 2019 winners are identified

Tashkent hosted the awarding ceremony of National Sports Award 2019 winners.

Best athletes, coaches, judges, specialists, journalists, federations and responsible organizations that have worked for development of sport during the year were awarded in 20 nominations at the event, organized by the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva and others noted that the large-scale reforms carried out by the Head of the state in all spheres serve people’s interests, realization of their hopes and aspirations, physical and spiritual education of youth in the spirit of national and universal values. The effectiveness of President's attention was noted, thanks to which our athletes successfully attend the Olympic, Paralympic and Asian Games, Continental and World Championships.

Uzbekistan national boxing team have been recognized as the best team of the year and the National Paralympic Association was recognized as the best federation of the country.
