Namangan to host International Honey Festival

TASHKENT, October 17. /“Dunyo” IA/. On October 28-30, Namangan will host the First International Honey Festival, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.


The event is organized by the Main Department for Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Namangan region.

More than 250 types of domestic and foreign beekeeping products, as well as information about working at the apiary and collecting honey, will be presented. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to observe the preparation of various medicinal ointments from beeswax and taste honey. The event will also include a scientific-practical conference on the development of agro-tourism in Uzbekistan, sports competitions, a concert, and masterclasses of specialists in beekeeping.

The winners in the categories “Best packaged honey” and “Natural Honey” will be determined.
